WELCOME TO OUR WORLD: Lisa DeBenedictis and Friends

"Welcome To Our World" features new songs by Lisa DeBenedictis remixed by the best remix artists on the web. Most the vocal samples and some of piano samples used are taken from tracks recorded for Lisa's upcoming full length release, "Easy Killer," which is due out by Summer 2011.

During the songwriting process, Lisa uploaded many of her vocal tracks to ccmixter.org for remixing (visit http://ccmixter.org/people/lisadb to hear many other fine remixes that did not fit the mood of the CD).

Remix Artists Featured:
oldDog a.k.a. Ross Lorraine (Tracks 1, 7) Ross is an accomplished composer in the UK as well as an innovative remixer. Both remixes included on this CD won "Editor's Pick" at ccmixter and have inspired several YouTube videos.

WeirdWired (8) "Lonely As The Moon is a special song inspired by the real story of a women burning down the house of her family. The original track will appear on the album "Displaced" (coming 2011).

Durden a.k.a. Daniel Moreno (10) Durden is "a self-taught musician and producer exorcised by music. My music is produced mostly by that "dark side" inside every one of us; that's the reason for the sad, nostalgic or even aggressive sound in my songs." No wonder I like him.
