Unearthed by The West Exit The West Exit : Unearthed.
Soulful electro pop.

The West Exit's unique electro-soul sound is showcased like a pendulum on Unearthed. Starting out on the jazzy-soulful side, then swinging way off into the ambient electronic realm, back and forth until eventually landing in that sweet spot in the middle. The lyrical content spans everything from the usual suspects of love lost and love gained to the matters of religion, politics and the sad ballad of a broken hand drum.

Unearthed is a collection of b-sides and other unreleased music from The West Exit. The songs range from recordings done back in 2002 (when the band went by the name Dim At Asia) up to the non-album tracks from the Extra Century Perception album sessions in 2009. The diversity illustrates the evolution that the sound of The West Exit has undergone while still maintaining their knack for haunting melodies and addictive grooves.
